Kelley & RaMel are Married: Richmond Wedding Photography

Kelly & RaMel were married at First Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monument Avenue in Richmond, Virginia.  They travelled by trolley to their reception at the Westin on Broad Street where they treated everyone with donuts from Westhampton Pastry Shop.   

 

Creecy's Wedding Day: Getting Ready

I spent Saturday following this beautiful bride around!  I heard many stories about the wedding gown before the big day, and was able to stop by the house to see the "cocoon" (made of sheets) that her dad made to keep the dress from touching any of the wooden walls in the closet.  Then there were the hours spent ironing the raw silk dress...and the ironing continued once the dress was on!  The gorgeous veil was the the bride's "something old" since it was the same veil that her mother wore at her wedding.

We had a nice walk around Monument Avenue last weekend in Richmond.  Looking forward to the May 2011 wedding!

Falling in Love: Baltimore Style

Just Arrived: Wedding Photo Book

It was so much fun opening up this new wedding book today.  I had to share some images, especially since the owner of this book has to wait a few days to get her hands on it!  The cover is called "mystery glass" and we chose a very unique leather spine & back to go with it.  There are so many different combinations available with these books, and they can be used for portrait sessions too.

Katie & Byron: Outer Banks Wedding Photography

Katie & Byron were married on the sound in Kill Devil Hills.  After the ceremony we snuck over to the beach for some bridal party photos.  A chilly night, but so much fun!
