Farrah did a great job sitting up and eating grass at Island Farm in Manteo. Her big brother had fun posing too...just not with his little sister!

This is the beautiful newborn girl that I photographed yesterday. I'll have to find out which Etsy shop the hat came from, it was so cute (and the ruffled pink bloomers too).
Also related to babies (sort of), I saw that Elizabeth Mitchell just released a new cd of children's music called Sunny Day. I have featured her music before on my website and slideshows. You can buy the new cd (or download the digital music) from Smithsonian Folkways, or from Amazon.
If you would like to win a copy of the cd, e-mail me at info@amydixonphotography.com and I will draw a name tomorrow morning. Just put "Elizabeth Mitchell" in the subject line of the e-mail.
It was a cool and windy night at Coquina Beach in Nags Head, but this baby girl kept smiling the entire time! It was fun to catch up with this family since I hadn't seen them since their newborn session. I've also been slightly obsessed with children's clothing lately, so I had to ask where they got the cute baby sweater. You can find it at Gap (I still have a hard time not calling it "The Gap").
